Hearths & Fireplaces
Finishing touches for your wood-burning stove or boiler Leading stove manufacturer Arada Ltd, whose brands including Aarrow, Villager and Stratford, has introduced an attractive range of shelves, hearths and fire surrounds to complement any stove installation or create an attractive fireplace in any room.
After choosing an Aarrow, Villager or Stratford stove or boiler stove you may feel that your fireplace opening doesn’t look quite ‘finished’. This is where Arada’s range of fireplaces and hearths come in. Specifically designed to be used with stoves, the fireplaces are simple designs that leave the stove as the star, while the hearths take into account the need for a deeper design that goes to the back of the fireplace opening.
The surrounds come in a choice of limestone effect (pictured left) or black slate effect (pictured top) and their 3-piece design make them easy to install. Each surround comes in two sizes with overall measurements of either 36” square or 40” square.
The hearths are only available in slate effect and come as two pieces. The outer hearth (covering the area in front of the surround) is available in four sizes from 36” wide by 15” deep to 60” wide by 15” deep while the inner hearth, is available in three sizes ranging from 30” wide by 15” deep to 40” wide by 15” deep. The hearths are pictured with the Arada fireplaces above and as separate components on page 2.
All hearth components are designed for use with stoves that burn wood and other solid fuels. They meet the requirements of relevant British and European standards and the Building Regulations. They are, of course, also suitable for use with gas stoves.
